Murray Marine Centre is seeking a workshop administration assistant / trades assistant. The successful applicant will be responsible for workshop customer service, job organisation and when time allows some time on the tools.

The role is full time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday... (4 day work week)

Key Responsibilities:

Handle customer enquires, service bookings and parts.

Schedule all workshop work (as per workshop managers guidelines).

Schedule all workshop maintenance in compliance with OH&S.

Clarify correct part required from customer request or mechanical diagnosis.

Maintain workshop supplies, tools, oils & parts to the approved stock levels.

Maintaining all aspects of customer service concerning workshop.

Sourcing & pricing parts required to carry out repairs via requisition order.

Coordinate repairs and maintenance to established schedules as required by customers.

Organising for vehicle faults and repairs / maintenance needed as per booking schedule.

Process Job Cards as required regarding the work carried out on each vehicle.

Maintain / generate service schedules.

Maintain / manage workshop marketing / pre repair info such as service pricing schedules etc.

Generate / maintain all workshop related systems and processes (in conjunction with dealer principal and workshop manager)

When required retail customer sales, enquiries and parts interpreting

Maintain workshop infrastructure

Perform basic non mechanic workshop jobs
