About the Opportunity
As a Cover Truck Operator, you’ll play a key role in our Bituminous Spray Sealing Operations, using an aggregate spreader truck to evenly apply materials to sealed surfaces. Your work will directly support road construction, maintenance, and roadside improvements across the region.
You’ll ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality infrastructure outcomes.
This position is part of the Works & Infrastructure Branch and is based at the MRCC Red Cliffs Depot.

What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
Hold a current Heavy Combination Truck Licence
Ability to operate items of plant and equipment associated with civil construction or road maintenance works.
Traffic Controllers – Statement of Attainment
Hold a current Level 2 First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
Hold a current Construction Induction Card accredited by Work Safe Victoria
Ability to provide a satisfactory National Police Check prior to employment.
Salary and conditions
The position is classified within Band 3 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $69,967.45 to $74,110.81 per annum including industry allowance, maintenance allowance plus insert allowances if applicable statutory superannuation.
