HAYS has partnered with one of Australia's leading manufacturers who specialise in designing and manufacturing high-performance attachments for mining, construction and earthmoving equipment. Known for durability, strength and engineering excellence who are now looking to expand their Archerfield team.

Your new role

You play a vital role in precision manufacturing of heavy-duty attachments for the mining and construction industry, where your duties include but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Set up and calibrate CNC machines accordingly
• Operate Mills and/or Lathes
• Maintain equipment and perform routine troubleshooting
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to produce industry-standard work
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, accessible work environment
• Afternoon/night Shift 3:30pm starts

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a CNC Operator
  
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
  
• Appropriate trade qualification
  
• Competent using mills and/or lathes
  
• Mazark, Okuma, Fanuc & Fagor experience is essential.
  
• Reliable transport and Valid Driver Licence
  
• Ability to work late afternoon/night shift hours
