Key Details:

Location: Sydney CBD, NSW
Contract Duration: 4 months ( September to December )
Salary: Hourly Rate

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate and weld structural steel components for tunnel works

Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications

Cut, shape, and assemble steel to required tolerances

Install and align fabricated structures within tunnel worksites

Conduct repairs and maintenance on steel structures and supports

Operate welding and fabrication tools safely and effectively

Adhere to site safety standards, confined space, and hot works procedures

Collaborate with engineers, riggers, and construction crews to meet deadlines

Qualifications & Requirements:

Trade qualification in Boilermaking / Metal Fabrication

Weld tests results to be sent with resumes ( ISO 9606 )

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong knowledge of fabrication and steel structures

Experience with installation and site assembly work

Familiarity with confined space and hot works procedures

Commitment to workplace health and safety standards

Ability to work effectively in a team environment
