Leading Edge Support Coordination is seeking an experienced Level 2 Support Coordinator- either Casual or sub contractor to work with clients on the Central Coast NSW. Applicants must live on the Central Coast.
**PAY RATES**
Casual: from $51.81-$55.73/hr (SCHADS 3.4-4.1 depending on experience)+ super.....we supply everything you need including the laptop, phone, software and insurances; or
Sub contractor $70/hr + super- you provide your equipment and insurance (Public Liability, Personal Indemnity and Accident insurance- insurance is mandatory and evidence will be requested). Applicants will need to know how to operate under an ABN.
Leading Edge Support Coordination has been registered with NDIS since 2022, to provide Level 2 support coordination and Level 3 Specialist support coordination services to people with disability- helping NDIS participants understand, coordinate and connect to supports and services, using the funding in their NDIS plans. Our clients needs are at the centre of everything that we do.
This is a casual or sub contractor role. Due to our current coordinators being at capacity, and the business continuing to receive regular referrals, we are looking for a Level 2 support coordinator who can provide a long term commitment to their case load of clients. Our support coordinators work remotely from home and therefore, hours can be flexible. There will be opportunity for you to increase your work hours, as business growth continues.
Your application should demonstrate the following requirements:
· Minimum certificate 4 in Community services, Mental Health, Disability, or degree in Social work, social science, or related field.
. Previous support coordination, case work or disability experience is desirable.
· Valid NDIS screening check and Working with Children Check.
· Driving license, comprehensively insured vehicle, and willingness to conduct home visits. It is a requirement of this role that you use your own vehicle.
· Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, including the ability to interpret NDIS plans and service agreements.
· The ability to navigate difficult conversations and find solutions for complex situations.
· An understanding of mainstream and community services, and the ability to connect participants to a range of NDIS funded and mainstream services in a timely manner.
· Exceptional communication, advocacy and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in using NDIS-related software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent time management and record keeping skills, and the ability to write high quality reports.
· The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with internal staff and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless services to participants.
