Electrician – Smart Metering Upgrades | SE QLD

Restyle Electricians is expanding and we’re looking for a confident, customer-focused electrician to join our metering team. You’ll be part of an important energy upgrade program, installing and replacing meters across South East Queensland from Brisbane/ Ipswich/ Bayside/ Logan/ Gold Coast.

About the Role

Replace and install single and three-phase meters, including communications units

Work in residential properties and small businesses (approx. 7–10 sites/day)

Troubleshoot and rectify faults, including embedded network metering

Use a mobile app for navigation, job records, and data capture

Work independently, managing your schedule and deadlines

Follow rigorous testing, safety, and quality standards at every site

You’ll start each day from Burleigh to collect metering equipment before heading out in a company vehicle to sites across SE QLD. Testing equipment, tools, training, and certification for metering work are provided.

What We’re Looking For

Current QLD Electrical Licence (open class)

White Card

Manual driver’s licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle

Strong testing skills and safe work mindset

Able to work unsupervised while meeting strict deadlines

Professional, friendly approach with customers

Tech confident — comfortable using apps for navigation and job updates

Switchboard experience valued (metering experience not required)

Willingness to learn and follow detailed installation and testing processes
