As a Retail Assistant, you will need to be a clear communicator, highly approachable and an effective team player that can deliver high quality customer service. This role is based at Johnson Bros. Mitre 10 Avalon.

General Job Requirements:

• Sales and or Customer Service experience preferable
• Cash-handling procedures
• Build rapport with customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work in a team environment
• Positive "Can do attitude"

Advantageous qualities:

• Experience in a similar position, preferably in the retail industry
• Experience in the construction or trades industry is a plus
• Proactive, self-motivated and driven to succeed
• Problem solving and dispute resolution ability
• Strong communication skills
