ABOUT THE ROLE:

ALOGIC is looking for a Junior IT Support Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide Level 1 Customer Support and Desktop Support across the company. Also capable of working independently and within small cross-functional teams.
Support and training is provided using a combination of phone, email, and the extensive use of CRM online tools. The work is varied and requires a flexible approach and a passion for IT hardware and delivering exceptional friendly support.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

• Good knowledge of IT hardware and peripherals as well as Microsoft 365 Apps and Services.
• Experience in end user technical/orientation training.
• Respect for non-technical users.
• A fast learner and be able to collect information and analyse problems to develop problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing fist level Technical Support for customers across our brands.
• Collaborating closely with our technical team to test equipment and support product development.
• Be able to multi-task and be proactive in support customer issues and in-house company projects.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Providing first level customer support – via telephony, emails and ticketing system.
• Collaborating with Technical & Product Development team to help deliver the right solutions that support business objectives.
• Hands-on experience with IT Hardware including testing and product support.
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, vendors, and various logistics stakeholders.
• Install and configure software and hardware
• Performing troubleshooting, testing and bug fixes to products and internal systems.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

• Common IT knowledge of Windows, MacOS
• Basic knowledge of Networking and Internet – including DHCP, DNS and networking.
• Good technical knowledge of PC, Laptops, Printers and peripherals
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• A passion for technology and willingness to learn new skills across a range of technologies
• Ability to work independently with limited information and/or direction
• Capabilities in technical research
• Be able to communicate your idea clearly and effectively
• Systematic problem-solving approach and proactively continue improving current processes and tools

Not essential but highly favourable:

• IT diploma or TAFE qualifications
• Office365 Administration
• Previous experience in a Desktop Support role or HelpDesk.
