About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Refrigeration Technician to join our skilled maintenance team at our Dubbo facility; one of the largest industrial ammonia refrigeration plants in Australia. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of systems, supported by industry specialists, with the chance to expand your skills and take real ownership of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure reliable operation of large-scale industrial ammonia refrigeration systems essential to production

Participate in the on-call roster, attending to breakdowns and after-hours issues as required

Work alongside a supportive, multi-trade maintenance team and under the guidance of experienced management

Take accountability for plant performance, minimising downtime through proactive and responsive maintenance

Support external refrigeration contractors and learn from leading industry specialists

Contribute to a diverse range of maintenance activities, building experience beyond refrigeration systems

What We’re Looking For

Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (industrial ammonia refrigeration experience strongly preferred)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Self-motivation and accountability to ensure plant performance standards are met

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A willingness to learn, develop, and make this role your own

Please note: this role is not suited to those with only domestic split system experience.
