About the Law Council of Australia & Business Law Section
The Law Council of Australia (Law Council) is the peak national representative body of the Australian legal profession, speaking on national issues and promoting the administration of justice. The Business Law Section (BLS), established in 1980, provides a forum through which lawyers and others interested in law affecting business can discuss current issues, debate and contribute to the process of law reform in Australia, and enhance their professional skills.
