About the business:

GDP Industries is a not-for profit organisation offering long term supports in employment for people with disability and has been operating in Geelong for over 55 years. We are a small extremely successful social enterprise with a family atmosphere and are currently looking for an experienced driver to join our team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Transport Coordinator, we are currently looking to fill the role of driver. This is a permanent position, and will ideally suit a hands-on, self-motivated person with experience in the manufacturing industry or delivery driver experience. You would need to be an enthusiastic, motivated team player with great customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a small business environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

Necessary attributes include people skills, basic computer skills, can perform handling and manual lifting comfortably and possess a willingness to learn and pitch-in when required.

Current license

Clean Driving history

Forklift license

First Aid Certificate - beneficial but not essential

Experience in similar role

Positive attitude and great customer service

Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.

Knowledge of the Disability Service /Industry would be an advantage.

Strong focus on safety and ability to work in a team.

Be fit and able to do manual labor/loading and unloading products.
