About the opportunity
Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our Bulk Medium Rigid Truck Driver with Forklift within our friendly new state of the art Brisbane Airport premium StarTrack facility based on Boronia Road, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!

This opportunity is offered on a permanent full time basis working Monday to Friday with a rate of pay of $32.51/hr + 12% super and overtime rates.

You’ll be

• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
• Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility via forklift (this is a bulk role).
• Driving our trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups (up to 20 deliveries and pick ups a day).
• Returning to our Brisbane Airport based StarTrack Premium facility to unload pick-ups.

About you

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.

You’ll also need to

• Hold a relevant unrestricted MR licence or above along with a forklift licence.
• Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck up to a weight of 30kg.
• Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.
• Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
• Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less.
• Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks.
