An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and experienced Body Builder/Fabricator to join our Staplyton based team. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm. Immediate start available (or asap).

JR Equipment specialises in the manufacturing, repair and maintenance of concrete pumps. As the Australian dealer for Hyundai Everdigm Concrete Pumps, our team is expanding.

This role is focused on mounting new concrete pumps to new chassis. A willingness to learn, a can-do attitude and quality workmanship are crucial.

Key responsibilities:

Undertake modifications of various brands of rigid truck bodies including: new DAF, Isuzu, Fuso, Mercedes

Wheelbase extension, reductions or modifications

Manufacturing and fitting of mounting plates

Basic truck body repairs including cutting, welding, sanding, priming and spray painting

Final fit out of including mechanical, Pneumatic, hydraulics, and electrical

Follow directions and carry out work as required in a timely manner

Complete electronic job cards and timesheets

Key skills and attributes required:

Efficient multitasker

Good communication skills

Basic auto electrical skills

Physically fit and able to perform manual labour

Forklift licence

Medium or heavy rigid truck licence advantageous

Most important: being reliable and punctual, plus willing to learn new skills and processes
