An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance Energy Infrastructure Partnering team in Perth. This permanent, full-time role sits within a high-profile business unit that plays a key role in securing Australia’s energy future.

Reporting to the Finance Partnering Manager, you will provide meaningful insights, robust forecasting, and performance analysis to influence strategic priorities. You’ll work closely with operational and project stakeholders, leading budgeting and planning activities while also driving continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, data-driven environment and enjoys partnering with the business to unlock value and deliver better outcomes.

Role responsibilities:

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, challenging assumptions and providing insight on key performance drivers.

Deliver monthly financial performance reports with clear, actionable commentary.

Provide financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Support strategic decision-making and improvement initiatives through modelling, bench-marking, and competitor analysis.

Identify and deliver process improvements to enhance accuracy, reporting quality, and value creation.

Partner with stakeholders across operations and projects to present insights and support performance reviews.

About you:

CA or CPA qualified with hands on FP&A experience within a large, complex business.

Ideal for a big-4 audit candidate with over 4 years of post-audit commercial experience.

Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting within complex or asset-intensive organisations.

Power and energy sector experience is highly regarded.
