The role in a nutshell…

As Team Leader at Rise, you’ll support and guide a team of Aged Care Support Workers and Domestic Assistants who provide essential care and in home services to clients across the North/East Metro.

From recruitment and onboarding to mentoring and performance reviews, you’ll be there every step of the way, helping your team thrive. You’ll also lend a hand with training, resolving issues, and occasionally stepping in to provide direct care when/if needed.

You’ll work closely with other Rise departments including our Client Coordinators to ensure our staff are supported, mentored and trained to provide high quality services and support to clients.

This position is full-time with flexible working hours. You will be required to work from all Rise locations including Helen’s Place (Middle Swan), Peter Anderton (Forrestfield), The Art’s Hub (Warwick), Centenary House (Koongamia) and the community. Once up-to-speed/approved, you may enjoy some hybrid work-from-home, depending on organisational and team requirements.

🎯 What you’ll bring…

Here at Rise, we nurture potential. But we do need you to have a few tricks up your sleeve including the following:

Certificate III in Ageing Support/Community Services or solid industry experience to match

Hands-on experience in residential or home care, and basic understanding of Home Care Packages (HCP) or Commonwealth home support (CHSP)

Understanding of the Support at Home Program (SaH) being implemented (desirable)

Leadership experience and ability to bring out the best in large teams

Confidence with admin tasks, written communication and tech (including Microsoft Office)

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport easily and communicate clearly with clients, families, and your team.

Appointments to this position will be subject to a national police clearance. Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
