About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and inspired Nursery Team Leader to join Rise Early Learning Camperdown. You will lead a team of Educators; collaboratively supporting the learning and development of the children entrusted to your care. You’ll work in an innovative, age-appropriate environment where the RIE approach is embedded into daily practice, fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high-quality curriculum and care while building strong family partnerships. This role is based at our established Campus 1, with the opportunity to be part of our expansion to a brand new second campus, when it opens.

Essential Criteria:

Valid NSW Working With Children Check

Well developed understanding of contemporary child safe practices

Flexible, adaptable and available for full-time work all hours/days the service is operational

ACECQA approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or can be working towards, depending on course progress

Strong proven Team/Room Leader/Lead Educator experience in an Early Childhood setting with babies, and a true passion for this age group. Degree qualified Teachers are not required, and therefore not being considered at this time

Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates, Food Safety and Child Protection training with a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain/refresh).

Nestled in the heart of Sydney’s vibrant and eclectic Inner West, Rise Early Learning Camperdown is a purpose-built, all-inclusive early childhood education service that proudly reflects the diversity and creativity of its surrounding community. Our unique space is an award-winning adaptive reuse of a former Inner West warehouse, thoughtfully transformed into an inspiring oasis for young children.

Excitingly, we are currently expanding our Camperdown campus, which is due to open within the coming month/s. This will increase enrolment capacity and create new opportunities for professional growth, leadership, collaboration, and enriched learning environments for both children and Educators. Since you are being considered for a position as part of our expansion, rest assured you will still have guaranteed work at the original Camperdown service in the interim.
