Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Catering Assistants with experience to join their partnering client located at Tullamarine.

Our client provides meal and catering services for the airline and passenger rail industries on a wholesale and retail basis. Positions are for an immediate start with availability to work day and afternoon shifts.

The position involves working across various sections and performing duties such as food preparation, coordinating food production activities in close collaboration with the Executive Chef, Assembly Manager, and Food Production Supervisors.

About your new role

• Food preparation.
• Coordination of food production activities by liaising closely with the Executive Chef and Assembly Manager and Food Production Supervisors.
• Supervision of production activities to ensure delivery of products and services are according to customer specification and expectation.
• Opportunity to work with a well-known leader of industry General cleaning and hygiene is maintained to the highest level.
• Proactively lead and supervise your team's performance.
• Maintains legal/compliance requirements across health and safety, food safety & security.

About you

• Experience in food production
• Must be available Mon to Sunday on day and afternoon shift
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Great attention to detail
• Proven experience in the Food manufacturing environment
• Reliable form of transport
• Knowledge of WHS and hygiene Impeccable presentation and grooming
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
