The Role:
We are seeking skilled, reliable, and passionate support workers to join our team. Ideally, we are looking for individuals who are committed to working in the care sector long-term, as their primary employment. Nursing students or students in health-related fields are welcome to apply. We are not seeking candidates who only want day shifts . Must be flexible over all hours. Must have car and full comprehensive insurance - Travel paid

As a Support Worker, you will:

Assist participants with daily living activities, including personal care, cleaning, cooking, and job applications, while supporting their goals as detailed in their individual plans.

Provide assistance with accessing community events, social outings, and transportation services.

Ensure accurate data collection and completion of all required documentation, including progress notes.

Support participants in building independence through person-centred practices that encourage skill development and personal growth.

Create and promote a stimulating, caring, and culturally appropriate environment.

Provide self-care, social, and emotional support as needed.

Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including team leaders, peers, and management.

Work Location:
Support will be provided primarily to NDIS Participants in Toowoomba and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Certificate III or higher in Disability, Community Services, Aged Care, or a health-related field.

Experience and competency in mental health strategies.

Nursing students or students in a health-related field are welcome to apply.

Availability for all shifts, including Evening (PM), Overnight Active, and Sleepover shifts.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to person-centred care.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Current First Aid & CPR certification - Essential.

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle - Essential.

NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
