The Role

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter / Handyman to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving a mix of carpentry, repairs, and general maintenance tasks across residential, commercial, and government sites. The ideal candidate will be versatile, solution-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform carpentry tasks such as building, repairing, demolishing and installing timber structures (doors, frames, fencing, cabinetry, shelving, and more).

Carry out a variety of handyman duties including plaster patching, painting, and tiling.

Conduct preventative maintenance, and site repairs.

Read and follow work orders and schedules using ServiceM8.

Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety, and customer service.

Complete jobs efficiently, ensuring quality and compliance with company and client requirements.

Skills & Experience

Proven carpentry trade background or strong handyman experience.

Broad knowledge of maintenance, repairs, and property services.

White Card (Construction Induction) essential.

Driver’s licence and reliable transport required.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate with clients.

Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.

Advantageous: Additional tickets (e.g. working at heights, confined spaces, EWP) or multi-trade skills.
