About the Role
We are looking to appoint a Senior Engineering Surveyor to lead a small in-house team and contracted services, to support the design and construction of the City’s Capital Works Program. The Senior Engineering Surveyor role provides specialist technical support in the field of civil engineering surveying. As a specialist in this area, you will provide support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the development and review of processes and procedures. This role currently uses Leica GNSS and Total Station instruments with tablet and standard field controllers.
About you
You will be adaptable and eager to learn with a passion for delivering high quality customer service outcomes. You will thrive working in a variety of environments across a varied range of project work.
You will be able to demonstrate through your resume and covering letter, that you meet the following capabilities:
- Diploma in Surveying or relevant qualification,
- Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role, including leadership responsibilities,
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment,
- Advanced experience in the efficient utilisation of information systems and technology,
- National Construction Induction Certificate (White Card),
- C class Drivers Licence,
- Proficient in the use of surveying software for survey processing and calculations,
- Ability to manage changing priorities,
- This role requires a level of physical fitness for some activities undertaken.
