The Opportunity
Due to an internal transfer, a rare opening has become available on the client service team. This is the perfect opportunity for you to build on your technical expertise and gain long-term career experience and exposure. With a strong focus on client relationships and proving quality service, your client service skills will need to be outstanding! This is an excellent role for someone who has a couple of years industry experience who is keen to be exposed to the funds management space. You will work in tandem with every function and therefore it is a great learning experience.
We are after individuals who are curious, thinkers and who actively seek out ways to continuously improve the process. If you are proactive and don’t wait to be told, then ready on!
The Role
- Respond to and resolve ad hoc investor and adviser queries received via phone and email
- Provide exceptional service to clients, via phone and email and ensure all projects and stakeholders have been followed up and informed of progress
- Preparation of investor-specific reporting including fund fact sheets, asset allocation and distribution information
- Manage day-to-day transactional activities for direct investors, advisers and intermediary clients
- Prepare external reporting as needed including performance and research house reporting
- Provide assistance where needed with other operational or client service team activities
- Be involved in New Fund Launches and work closely with the Distribution and Product teams
- Liaise with 3rd parties – Custodians, Registries, Research Houses and Regulators
The Candidate
We would love to see applications from enthusiastic and professional individuals who:
- Have 2-3 years experience in client services (accounting, advice, adviser services
- Some previous experience in financial services – advice, registry or custodian is advantageous but not essential
- Customer-focused with a high degree of responsiveness
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Enthusiastic self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously
- Solution orientated – uses initiative to achieve results
- A collaborative and proactive team member, not afraid to make suggestions in order to improve processes
- Positive attitude with a flexible work ethic
- Extremely organised and reliable
- Tertiary qualifications which support your financial services knowledge would be an advantage
- RG146 compliant or ability to obtain qualification within 6 months after commencement
