Project Surveyor

Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT)

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Surveyor with a preference for candidates who have experience in construction surveying. As a Surveyor at Ellipse Surveying, you will be responsible for conducting various surveying tasks, including:

Building feature set-out

Precast wall set-out

As-built or work as executed surveys

Civil And Engineering surveys

Structural steel set-out

Detail surveys

About the role

Key Responsibilities:

Setout relevant features

Prepare relevant drawings for setout

Undertake Quality Assurance (QA) checks + plan preparation following each setout

Prepare survey reports, maps, and documentation.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.

Experience/skills:

At least 2 years of experience in construction surveying.

Strong proficiency in using surveying instruments and software (Leica experience preferred)

Experience with AutoCAD preferred

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Valid driver's license.
