Are you an organised and proactive administrator with a knack for customer service and admin? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a State Government department located in the Eastern Suburbs as an ASO2 Admin Officer on an initial 3-month contract with a high view of extension. The pay rate is $37.63 + super

This full-time casual contract position operates Monday to Friday, 0900 AM to 1700PM (37.5 hours per week), commencing ASAP. Please note, a National Police Check (NPC) is a mandatory requirement for this role.

About the Role

The Administration team provides support services to enable the efficient operation of the wider team function.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high level administration support to the branch
  • Providing customer service to members of the public as well as internal stakeholder via email or telephone
  • Update records and databases, complying with records management processes, to ensure information is accurate, stored correctly, and accessible
  • Undertake general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.

To be successful, you will possess the following:

  • Must have previous experience in an admin role
  • Flexibility and adaptability with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to problem solve
  • Be self-driven and also follow instruction
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Must hold a NPC (National Police Check)
  • Available Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5pm
