About the role

As a Field Service Mechanic with ETA Mechanical Solutions, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of equipment and machinery for our clients across the Wallan, VIC region. This full-time position offers you the opportunity to utilise your strong technical skills and expertise to ensure our customers' operations run smoothly.

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various industrial equipment and machinery
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Maintain detailed records of all work completed and parts used
• Advise clients on maintenance schedules and recommended improvements
• Collaborate with the wider ETA Mechanical Solutions team to ensure a cohesive service approach

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related technical field
• Extensive experience as a field service mechanic, ideally within the trades and services industry
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
• A current driver's licence (HR Preferred) and the ability to travel to job sites within the local area
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
