WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Service Person at Norton Gold Fields, you are responsible for conducting the maintenance, lubrication servicing and repair of the Paddington Operations Heavy Mining Equipment (HME), in a safe and efficient manner. Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and health and safety regulations.

Conduct regular inspections of work areas to detect hazards, damage, and defects.

Inspect critical areas of the Heavy Mining Equipment fleet to prevent potential failures and breakdowns.

Perform planned maintenance and servicing tasks, including refuelling and daily servicing in the field.

Estimate time and materials required for jobs, and initiate orders accordingly.

Undertake repairs of Heavy Mining Equipment fleet as needed.

Regularly inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.

Manage costs responsibly, minimizing rework and unnecessary use of parts and services.

Review work tasks and jobs for opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

ABOUT YOU

At least 12 months of Serviceperson experience within the mining industry. (Essential)

Previous experience in a mobile maintenance environment (Essential).

Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class “HR” Driver’s Licence (Essential).

Mechanics or similar background (Desirable)

Basic understanding of the following machines:

CAT 777F, 789D , 775F Trucks

CAT 16M, 18M Graders

CAT D10T Dozers

Hitachi EX1900 , EX2600 , EX3600 Excavators

Komatsu PC1250 Excavators
