About the role

We are looking for a passionate part-time Butcher to join our team at Mattys Meats' in Beenleigh, QLD. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting, preparing and packaging high-quality meat products to meet the needs of our customers. This role offers the flexibility of part-time or casual hours, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking a work-life balance.

What you'll be doing

Cutting, trimming and preparing a variety of meat products, including beef, pork, lamb and poultry

Packaging and labelling meat products for display and sale

Providing excellent customer service by offering recommendations and advice on meat selection and preparation

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation

What we're looking for

Experience as a Butcher, with a strong understanding of meat cutting and preparation techniques

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide knowledgeable advice to customers

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods

A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
