Role dimensions:
The role operates with a high level of autonomy within the context of their agreed work plan. The role exercises
judgment in implementing policies and is fully accountable for the quality and integrity of advice provided.
Independent decision-making: Takes on a leadership role and makes decisions that may impact the work team
or areas overall outcomes, including resolving day-to-day issues, directly impacting team outcomes and
priorities. Collaborative decision-making: The role will work with the relevant reporting line manager on
complex decisions that have a significant impact on agreed timeframes, cost, quality, and scope.

Key challenges:

• Managing complex, multi stakeholder project initiatives which have the ability to positively impact customer experience

• Understanding and defining interfaces to the appropriate level of detail and understanding the
  architecture including internal interfaces between system elements and the external interfaces with
  other systems.

• Actively identify potential challenges related to planned or proposed changes in configuration for design, tests, implementation and operations.

Key Knowledge & Experience:

• 3+ years experience as a successful System Architect in cyber security and/or technology
  projects in an engineering environment
