About the role

We have an opportunity for an Information Review Officer to be part of our GIPAA Review Team, Office of the General Counsel, InfoLink. The Review Officer coordinates the implementation of information access legislation within the NSWPF, including the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (the GIPA Act). The role assesses applications, collaborates with key stakeholders and makes decisions regarding the release of information in accordance with legislation and associated policies and procedures.

Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying legislation with a specific Act is advantageous.

This role involves autonomous decision making regarding the release of NSW Police Force information in line with legislative requirements and delegated authority.
