- $123,569pa - $139,840pa + 12% super (level 8)
Great news - EBA6 currently is underway, with a proposed increase of 5% effective July 2025 - 72.5 hour fortnight

This is an exciting time to join City of Moreton Bay, following the recent adoption of our 2025-26 Budget, which delivers a record capital works program to support jobs and deliver vital projects that keep our city moving.
As our Specialist Infrastructure Planner, you’ll provide high-quality planning advice to achieve strategic and business outcomes across all major asset classes.
You will lead the delivery of complex, precinct-level planning initiatives, working collaboratively with internal teams and external consultants. We’ll also look to you to:
- Coordinate detailed, costed and staged infrastructure plans for identified growth areas and development fronts.
- Be a source of technical expertise for the broader team to drive integrated and sustainable outcomes.
- Ensure alignment with policy and legislative frameworks.
- Support the development of team capability to foster a high-performance, continuous improvement and customer-focused culture.
- Build strong relationships across stakeholder groups to promote an efficient and holistic approach across the organisation.

About you
We’re seeking an experienced infrastructure planner with a passion for shaping sustainable communities through innovative planning. Does this sound like you?
You’ll be proud to showcase the large-scale and complex infrastructure planning projects you’ve helped deliver in partnership with multiple stakeholders.
Bringing your expertise in infrastructure solutions, modelling, urban form and sustainability principles, you’ll demonstrate the ability to develop infrastructure scenario analyses that incorporate these elements.
We’re looking for someone with extensive knowledge of strategic land use planning processes, including the Planning Act 2016, the SEQ Regional Plan and the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with our Council’s planning schemes, local laws, and policies.
Your strategic and collaborative approach will enable you to deliver impactful outcomes and quickly become a valued member of our team.
