About the Job:
Maxima’s valued client, an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of the community, is seeking an experienced Social Planner for a temporary 6 month role. Working full time hours, Monday to Friday, this role is located on the edge of the CBD. Paying between $65 - $80/hr casual + Super, dependent on experience.
Duties of the role include:
- Researching, analysing and identifying social trends and community needs
- Contributing to the delivery of the relevant project goals
- Preparing and presenting recommendations to relevant stakeholders
- Liaising with local community about the organisation’s programs and services
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar role (required)
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, ie. Social Work/Social Sciences
- Previous experience in research
- Previous experience in data analysis
- Previous experience in project management
- Excellent communication skills
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
