About the role

Maryborough Transport Service is seeking an experienced Truck Scheduler to join our team in Maryborough, VIC. This full-time role is responsible for coordinating and optimising the dispatch of our fleet of trucks to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Plan and schedule daily truck routes and deliveries

Monitor truck movements and coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time performance

Liaise with customers to understand delivery requirements and priorities

Maintain detailed records of truck utilisation and delivery data

Identify and implement opportunities to improve scheduling and routing efficiency

Collaborate with the operations team to address any issues or disruptions

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar truck scheduling or dispatch role, ideally in the road transport industry

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to optimise route planning

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Proficient in using scheduling and routing software

Sound understanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirements

Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
