About the role

Maryborough Transport Service, a leading provider of road transport solutions, is seeking experienced HC Truck drivers to join our dynamic team. As an HC Truck driver, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, delivering essential goods and materials across Victoria, NSW, Queensland and South Australia. This is a full-time position based in Maryborough, VIC 3465. Part time and casual work is also available.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating heavy commercial vehicles, including semi-trailers and rigid trucks, to transport goods to various destinations

Complying with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of cargo

Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain the roadworthiness of the vehicles

Liaising with customers, dispatchers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Providing exceptional customer service and representing the company in a professional manner

Adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself, your cargo and other road users

What we're looking for

A valid HC driver's licence with a clean driving record

Demonstrated experience in operating heavy commercial vehicles, preferably in a road transport or logistics environment

Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safety practices

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team

Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism

Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure timely deliveries
