About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our family practice in Varsity Lakes, Queensland on a full-time basis. As our Practice Nurse and Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Providing high-quality nursing care to our patients, including administering injections, dressing wounds, and assisting with various medical procedures

Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and coordinating patient appointments

Liaising with patients, GPs, and other healthcare providers to ensure the seamless delivery of care

Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies

Contributing to the development and implementation of practice protocols and procedures

Participating in team meetings and professional development activities

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar nursing role, preferably within a general practice or primary care setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, GPs, and other healthcare professionals

Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask

Proficient in the use of medical software and technology

Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
