About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Generalist for full-time employment to join our team at Neilson IT Solutions PTY LTD, a dedicated MSSP in Perth, Western Australia. The successful candidate will work within a small and experienced team to provide essential IT support and troubleshooting across Clients spanning a vide variety of Industries.

What you'll be doing

Providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues

Assisting clients remotely (Remote connection, phone or email) or Onsite

Maintaining and updating IT systems, including servers, desktops, and mobile devices

Implementing security measures to protect Client's IT infrastructure

Assisting with the deployment and configuration of new and emerging technologies

Documenting IT processes and procedures

Collaborating with other IT team members to ensure a high-level of Customer Support

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (Min 5 Years)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Windows operating systems

Proficiency in Office 365 Admin Center and Local Active Directory

Good working knowledge of networking, hardware, and software maintenance

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Permanent Australian resident or Citizen (no sponsorship or short-term employment available)

Location

At the start, the location will be a small in-home dedicated Office space within a residential Property in 6108, Thornlie. Towards the end of 2025 Neilson IT Solutions will relocate to a commercial Office space in 6103, Belmont/Rivervale area.
