Join our Operations team and take charge of a wide range of technical responsibilities across the Pilbara Grid Network, from planning and installation to commissioning, maintenance, and dismantling.
Your work will directly contribute to network reliability and service excellence, aligned with both divisional and corporate performance goals.
What you will do
Lead six-week forward work planning and provide technical support to the Asset Services team.
Coordinate daily operations to deliver efficient, budget conscious outcomes.
Maintain and repair electrical and electronic equipment, including protection circuits.
Test and commission network apparatus.
Troubleshoot faults and restore system integrity. Prepare and execute switching, commissioning, and maintenance programs.
Lead and supervise Horizon Power appointed contractors.
Mentor others in network switching commissioning and maintenance activities.
Ensure assets are built, commissioned and maintained in accordance with the Transmission Asset Management Plan.
Your Expertise
In-depth knowledge of transmission network operations, maintenance practices, and field procedures.
Practical understanding of electrical protection systems within transmission and distribution networks.
Current unrestricted WA Electrical Workers Licence.
Demonstrate knowledge of or experience in HV Switching.
Demonstrate safety leadership
