360 Health + Community is a person-centred health service providing care and support to people when, where and how they need it most. Our teams deliver well known and trusted programs across Western Australia to help body and mind across the lifespan including Street Doctor, ALIVE, headspace, NDIS Support Coordination and Therapy, Commonwealth Home Support Program and a variety of other allied health and support services.
We are proudly partnering with Ruah Community Services to deliver primary health care within the Karlup Service, a wholistic, wraparound service model for women and children to heal and recovery from family and domestic violence in the Ruah Centre for Women and Children (RCWC), as state-of- the-art, purpose-built facility in the Perth CBD. This flexible position can be full time with a 9 day fortnight option or part time job-share, and provides an enhanced service to our established multi-disciplinary primary health care and support team in a variety of sensitive locations including engagement hubs, refuges and community housing.
It is a genuine occupational qualification of this position to be female in accordance with section 27 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984.
Your skills and experience:
- Qualification and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions
- Advanced clinical skills with the ability to efficiently manage the unique practice model, independently provide assessment and care of individual health needs, and provide formal advice on further identified need.
- Capability to work within a trauma and culturally informed model of service delivery.
- Compassionate and clear interpersonal and communication skills, including a positive bedside manner.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with other providers where there is shared care.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to work flexibly with challenging presentations of mental health, alcohol and other drugs.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate dated within 6 months
The hourly rate for this position is between $38.31 and $46.58 per hour, depending on skills and experience ($75,700 to $92,042 per annum full time equivalent).
