Recognition Learning is looking for Tutors to work for our thriving Education Centre in Randwick!

Two opportunities are available for this round of recruitment:

Short-term English Tutor (approximately 25 August to 12 September), or

Permanent Maths and/or English Tutor

Tutors are required to provide individual tutoring services in one or more of the following subjects:

Mathematics (Year 5 to Year 12 - Mathematics Extension 1/2 preferred)

English (Year 5 to Year 12)

Science (Year 7 to Year 12)

Our Tutors are skilled in their subject areas, are able to clearly communicate ideas, and work with a range of children and young people with empathy and compassion. Our centre is a wam, friendly, and inclusive space for all our students.

Recognition Learning also prides itself on providing a highly supportive environment for all our staff. Through peer support and mentoring from our Director, we have helped many of our employees develop the skills and tools to kickstart their post-university careers. Most of our staff choose to work for us for 3-4 years before transitioning into the full-time workforce.

Although desirable, applicants are not required to have prior teaching experience. All lessons are overseen by our Teaching and Learning Specialist, and training and ongoing support is provided.

All lessons are conducted individually (i.e. one-on-one with students). The majority of lessons are delivered in-person at our Randwick Education Centre, located opposite the Sydney Children's Hospital.
