About us:
Our Community Paediatric Physiotherapists are an essential part of our Multidisciplinary Allied Health Team. They are part of the Children, Young People and Families Service that provide care to 0-18year olds living on the Lower Mid North Coast. The team work in collaboration to assess and diagnose clients, working closely with our Paediatricians and hospital based Physiotherapy services. Services are provided across the area with your base predominantly being in Taree.
About the role:
The Level 3 Paediatric Physiotherapist will provide and maintain a high standard of Physiotherapy, delivering effective assessment, diagnosis and management of children and young people aged 0-18years in the Lower Mid North Coast. Your caseload is predominantly infants and children aged 0-5 years, who are experiencing physical and developmental difficulties, consistent with the services eligibility criteria.
Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care to children and their families. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced senior staff and be supported by a dynamic and friendly team to deliver patient-centred Physiotherapy services. The successful applicant will receive orientation and training while in the role. We encourage and support both internal and external support, with regular monthly clinical supervision and the completion of mandatory education requirements.
