Hours: Rotating Shifts - 2 Days (6am - 6pm), 2 Nights (6pm - 6am), 4-Off
Public Holidays: These guys work year round so you’ve got the opportunity to make BIG bucks on Public Holidays
Pay rates: Starting at $33.38 - $38.39 p/h + Over Time + Super
PPE: All PPE and uniforms are supplied and laundered after each shift - you get to rock up, get dressed onsite and shower to finish off your shift

What we need from you:

• Forklift licence is a non-negotiable
• Reliability is key - working on a rotating roster, there’s no space for no-shows. People are relying on you show-up and do your part
• If you’re scared of needles this may not be for you - you’ll be required to undertake a monthly blood test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol test
• Clean shave - for use of respirator

Now for the fun stuff…

Pallets stacked high are waiting to be unwrapped.

One by one, you tear off the wrapping, unstrap the crates, and stack batteries weighing up to 40kg onto conveyors.

Meanwhile, your shift partner is in the driver’s seat of a 3T forklift, unloading trucks and ensuring your line is kept ready with a steady stream of pallets.

You’ll alternate between the two roles, the dynamic duo of pallet stacking and unwrapping.

You’re the kind of person who finds satisfaction in routine, who loves to put their head down and power through.

You find joy in the repetitive.

Loving to go to work, do the work & to get home safely at the end of the day.

And while it’s just you and your teammate on the ground, you’ll be backed up by a control room team keeping eyes on the floor for safety.

Working in a local battery recycling plant, safety is the number one priority!
You’ll be dealing with hazardous substances, so it’s imperative that you follow the safety precautions to a tee.

In this role you’ll have to be comfortable in full PPE. The full-face respirator and protective gear aren’t optional, they’re there to keep you safe - that means a clean shaven face too!

But, you’ll be in good hands.

The supervisors? Experienced operators who’ve been around for 13–14 years, easy to get along with, and willing to show the ropes to anyone willing to work.
