Acting as Nominated Supervisor and Responsible Person on your rostered days

Leading the delivery of a high-quality educational program guided by the EYLF, QKLG & NQS

Build warm, trusting and respectful relationships with children, families and the local community

Working collaboratively with our passionate team, allied health professionals and external stakeholders

Supporting professional documentation, planning and the QIP process

Participating in parent-teacher meetings, end-of-term preparations and kindy events

Showing initiative and flexibility in supporting the day-to-day operations of the kindy

Potential for contract extension or transition to a permanent position for the right candidate

Opportunity to assume Director-level responsibilities in the future, depending on performance and business needs

About you

Hold a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)

Current full registration with the QLD College of Teachers

At least 3 years experience in a community kindergarten or long day care setting

Child Protection Training (Regulation 84A / S162A) and Mandatory Reporting certificates

Deep understanding of child development and a commitment to play-based learning

Strong initiative, time management and communication skills

A calm, nurturing and empathetic approach to behavior support

A team player who thrives in a collaborative, respectful workplace culture

Willingness to engage in out-of-hours tasks, as needed
