Vision Hospital Group is a leading network of dedicated day hospitals specialising in ophthalmic procedures. Our purpose is to deliver safe, high-quality surgical care in an environment designed to support both patients and practitioners. With a focus on clinical excellence, efficiency, and patient comfort, we work in close partnership with specialists and teams across Australia to provide the best possible surgical outcomes. The opportunity
Join our dedicated team at Footscray Day Surgery as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM). This is a full-time leadership opportunity with the added benefit of a Monday to Friday schedule—no weekend shifts required.
As the ANUM, you will support the daily operational coordination of a clinical area such as theatre, recovery or admissions. This is a hands-on nursing leadership role, combining direct patient care with oversight of workflow, staffing, and service delivery. You’ll act as team leader for the shift and may deputise for the DON when required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating clinical operations to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Supporting and supervising staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.
- Assisting with rostering, staff allocation, and stock/resource management.
- Contributing to clinical governance and compliance activities.
- Participating in performance development and quality improvement initiatives.
