Due to growth Australia’s Leading Home Care Agency (Establised 1999) is looking for a fulltime IHC Compliance Offer, an “Ethical Enforcer”, to join our Head Office in Sandringham. We specialise in the placement of Government subsidised In Home-Care Educators, private Nannies & NDIS workers, and are one of the largest privately owned providers of In Home Care and relating childcare services, in Australia. This important position will see the successful applicant reporting to the Director and working alongside the General Manager, Human Resource Manager, In Home Care Coordinator and Finance Manager - the role involves a wide range of compliance management, quality and safety assessment, function and process development, reporting and data analysis functions.

In this exciting role, you will be involved in project management and overall compliance fields within the organisation. You will be upholding a high quality standard of Safe, Education and Care through the In Home Care program.

Responsibilities

· Provide support to ensure ALHCA comply with all relevant legislation requirements, Codes of Practice’s and statutory obligations, both Federal and State

· Provide effective support to ALHCA operations teams to ensure the success of their compliance efforts

· Monitor, audit, report investigate and resolve:

o In Home Care paperwork compliance issues, ensuring processes are fit for purpose

o Collection of compliance documentation, assessing to ensure quality and safety standards are being met

· Timeliness of compliance procedures

· Robust induction/orientation and ongoing maintenance of Family and Educator compliance

· Working with ACECQA, the Regulatory Authority, the Department of Education and the Support Agency to ensure regulations align with practice capacity

· Develop consumables and materials to ensure compliance requirements are met within budgets and approved registers

· Assist with Safety, Education, Hazard, Rist, HR related and general audits and data analysis (daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, annually)

· Assist with systems user set-up and management

· Support incidents and hazards reviews

Experience and Qualifications

· Proficient in Excel

· Overall MS365 skills

· Proficient in dealing with different software programs

· 2-3 year’s experience working in childcare administration, and HSEQ (health, safety, environment and quality) compliance related fields

· Tertiary education desirable

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to shape/change behavioural patterns, flaws and work ethics

· A self starter who achieves key targets through effective organisation, motivation and with a commitment to HR/SHEO compliance as well as continual improvement

· Extensive experience and proven capabilities to drive key reporting outcomes across an organisation
