MASP is a not-for-profit organisation located in Mildura, Victoria.
The Youth Support Service Worker works with young people aged 10-18 who are at risk of entering the statutory youth justice system with the objective of diverting them away from this system and working with them to achieve better life outcomes.
The Youth Support Service Worker provides increased opportunities for participation in positive community activities, building and strengthening personal relationships, engagement in education, training or employment, and have stable accommodation and independent living skills.
Expected commencing salary of $76,675.99 per annum plus statutory superannuation. Because MASP is a non-profit organisation, you also have the option to maximise your income through salary packaging.

Essential role-specific skills, knowledge and experience
1. Must possess the minimum qualification.
2. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the vision and values of MASP.
3. Demonstrated experience in working with children and/or adolescents.
4. Highly developed assessment skills, capacity to apply a range of intervention strategies, effective problem-solving skills, highly developed interpersonal skills.
5. Demonstrated understanding of adolescent development and the issues which underlie offending behaviour.
6. Demonstrated experience in working with children and/or adolescents.
7. Highly developed assessment skills, capacity to apply a range of intervention strategies, effective problem-solving skills, highly developed interpersonal skills.
8. Demonstrated understanding of adolescent development and the issues which underlie offending behaviour.
Highly desirable role-specific skills, knowledge and experience
9. Case Management experience
