Your day as a Senior Advisor

This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience working in a fast-paced environment looking to build on their careers in consulting, advisory, transactional due diligence, assurance, reviews, or policy reform and design!

The Reviews and Reform team within the P&B Group spearheads innovative fiscal reform initiatives and provides strategic advice to ensure the sustainability of the State’s finances. The team collaborates with various NSW government agencies to optimise resource allocation and enhance service delivery efficiency by offering strategic advice, conducting project-based reviews, and developing frameworks to boost financial accountability.

As a Senior Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering projects to propose strategic, creative solutions to improve the resource allocation and efficiency for a variety of government agencies. You will analyse and evaluate government expenditure, organisational structures, and service delivery to identify fiscal sustainability and strategic reform opportunities that inform evidence-based recommendations and advice to senior executives and Government.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

· Ability to apply critical-thinking and problem-solving experience within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

· Experience in project management and building robust stakeholder relationships.

· Experience in consulting, strategy development, financial due diligence and analysis, or program and policy evaluation.

· Ability to effectively communicate complex information, including to senior stakeholders.

· Tertiary qualifications in economics, accounting, finance, law, business, public policy or a related discipline.

Eligibility
