The family owned Fairview Park Cellarbrations Bottle Shop seeks a Retail Manager.
As a small family business with ownership of a local hotel, we think of our team members as ‘extended family’, rather than, just another number under large corporate ownership.
The Shop
Located in the Fairview Shopping Centre on Hancock Rd, FAIRVIEW PARK, this near new state of art detached bottleshop (under 2 years old) is approximately 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD.
Positioned within the mall, adjacent a large Romeo's supermarket, the shop provides for rear loading access, undercover staff parking and working conditions free from the elements of the weather. Trading hours for the shop currently commence from 9am with a closing time of 7pm with days of operation in line with the Romeo's supermarket (which generally does not include Public Holidays, that is, the successful candidate will not work public holidays when Romeo's is closed).
The Role
We currently seek the services of an experienced, fully trained Retail Manager for a salaried (permanent full time) position.
Criteria for the position include:
having a Responsible Person (RP) designation;
a minimum of three years hands on experience as a Retail Manager in a bannered retail environment, preferably, a Cellarations but this banner is not a prerequisite for the position;
as the Retail Manager, the shop is your responsibility (you must have 7 day availability, as and when required), including but not limited to; purchasing & invoice entry (using H&L), stock control, driving sales, managing a small team, roster creation & management (including managing your own breaks), shop cleanliness and meeting sales, GP%, Wage and banner compliance KPIs/budgets;
being dependable and efficient in your trade;
having a driver's license and own transport;
having networks within trade to build your 'dream team'; and
not only possess excellent retail skills but also, achieve excellence in creating a welcoming environment and excellence in customer rapport building skills in which service is the priority.
This is a salaried (full time) role and as the successful candidate you will become an integral part of the extended retail team.
