The Role(s)

Due to series of recent business acquisitions across the Eastern States of Australia, we currently have two newly created Store Manager positions at our Sydney and Melbourne Sales and Service Centres.

Reporting directly to the National Operations Manager, our enthusiastic and energetic future Store Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations at our designated SPITWATER Sales and Service Centre. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a high-performing team culture, and delivering exceptional customer service aligned with SPITWATER Cleaning Equipment’s brand and cultural values.

The Store Manager will have strong people management skills and experience, with a proven ability to assist team members to achieve consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities include maintaining overall excellent standards and a welcoming store atmosphere, setting a strong, professional example for other in-store team members to follow.

The role also carries responsibility for safety, security and local budget management at the store. Importantly, the role is expected to be a culture champion, creating a positive and productive work environment that reflects the standards and ethos of the SPITWATER brand.

A little bit about the role:

Overall management of the team members, merchandise and standard of the store including the office, showroom and warehouse.

Management of locally held company assets (e.g. equipment, tools, vehicles, IT).

Proactively oversee the servicing team.

Management of local budget and reporting as required.

Purchasing and procurement ERP administrative tasks

Timesheet approval for local team members ensuring adherence to HR requirements, supported by the national HR team.

Resolve escalated customer issues with a solutions-first mindset.

Manage staffing rosters and ensure efficient workforce planning.

Present professionally in appearance and communications, reflecting SPITWATER’s company standards and brand values.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:

Bachelor degree or higher qualification is desirable but not essential

Customer focused and service driven

Ability to effectively manage and lead a team of specialists

Excellent communication skills

Strong organisational skills

Proficient use of all relevant IT systems and applications

Service operations experience, technical skills an advantage

Budget management experience

Ability to demonstrate process and procedure knowledge

Current unrestricted drivers licence

Current forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
