This position will provide you with hands-on training and the opportunity to develop valuable carpentry and cabinet making skills.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Assist experienced carpenters with the construction and installation of wooden structures, fixtures and fittings

Learn how to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications

Gain proficiency in the use of hand and power tools required for carpentry work

Develop skills in measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling wood components

Participate in the fabrication and installation of custom cabinetry and furniture

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and willingness to learn you'll have/be:

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident

A genuine interest in and passion for the construction trades

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Commitment to workplace health and safety
