Your new role

As a 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Carpenter, you will play a hands‑on role in delivering high‑quality outdoor home improvement projects, including decks, pergolas, extensions, and other bespoke carpentry works. Working closely with qualified tradespeople and project leaders, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of construction from site preparation through to finishing, while continually developing your technical skills and industry knowledge. This role is integral to maintaining the company's reputation for precision workmanship, innovative building solutions, and timely project delivery. You will work as part of a collaborative, supportive team where your contribution directly impacts client satisfaction and the successful completion of each project. The role requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow direction while developing the independence and problem‑solving skills needed to advance in your carpentry career.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Currently undertaking a 2nd or 3rd year carpentry apprenticeship
• Previous experience in outdoor home improvements such as decks, pergolas or extensions is highly advantageous
• Strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual approach to daily tasks
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills and techniques
• Ability to follow instructions while developing independence in completing tasks
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and support others on site
• Basic knowledge of tools, materials and construction practices relevant to carpentry
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
• Physically fit and capable of working in varying outdoor conditions
