About the Position This firm is seeking an Insurance Lawyer to join their Sydney team, focusing primarily on heavy transport and large-scale motor insurance property damage matters, while also working on a range of commercial litigation cases. The role offers both high volume and variety, with the chance to develop expertise in specialist insurance work alongside broader dispute resolution experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and progress a busy caseload of property damage claims in the heavy transport sector
• Advise large-scale motor insurers on liability, quantum, and recovery strategies
• Act on a range of commercial litigation matters for diverse clients
• Draft pleadings, prepare evidence, and appear in court where required
• Work closely with senior lawyers for strategic case management and client relationship building

Key Requirements

• 1+ years PAE in insurance litigation or commercial litigation (or dispute resolution with insurance exposure)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• High level of common sense and commercial acumen
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with competing priorities
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Experience in motor insurance or transport-related matters highly regarded
