The opportunity
An opportunity has become available for a customer service professional to join the team at our Bankstown branch. We are seeking applicants with previous banking experience in either customer service, branch teller, contact centre and/or personal and home loan lending conversations. This position will be well suited to someone who enjoys face-to-face customer service and variety in their day-to-day role.
Key responsibilities
Assisting customers with general enquiries, and personal and home loan enquiries;
identifying products and services best suited to customer needs;
guiding customers through the use of internet banking, mobile and online applications;
performing teller transactions and account administration tasks; and
acting as the primary contact and liaison between customers and specialised teams.
What we are looking for
Previous experience working in a frontline role within the banking sector e.g. branch, lending, contact centre, etc.;
experience building relationships and identifying products and services best suited to customer needs;
a sound understanding of how to deliver an exceptional customer service experience;
an understanding of personal and home loan products or a willingness to learn;
the ability to work unsupervised and cooperatively as part of a team;
the ability to adapt to change, including changes to processes and technology;
highly developed communication and problem solving skills;
ASIC Tier II accreditation; and
a sound understanding of compliance obligations associated with this role.
Experience using Ultracs banking software is highly desirable, but not essential.
